What we collect

When you place an order we ask for your name, email address, app name, a brief, and any reference files or links you choose to attach. If you join the waitlist, we store your email address and the package you were interested in.

What it's used for

• Designing and delivering your icon — the brief and files exist only for that.
• Emailing you about your order: confirmation, questions, delivery, and your order link.
• Nothing else. No marketing lists, no selling data, and no sharing it beyond the services that run the shop: payments, hosting, email and analytics.

Payments

Payments are handled by Polar, the merchant of record, which also takes care of sales tax. Your card details go straight to Polar and never touch our servers.

Where it lives

Order data and uploaded files are stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Analytics use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and does not track you across sites.

Page views and clicks are also recorded with PostHog (in the US): which page you came from, which link or button you clicked and where on the page, how far you scrolled, and your browser, device and screen size. Nothing is stored in your browser for this, and nothing you type into the order form, no file names and no app names are sent. PostHog tells visits apart with a code made from your IP address and browser that changes every day, and doesn't keep your IP address.

How long, and deletion

We keep order records and delivered files so you can re-download your icon later. Want your data or files deleted? Email hello@48hicons.com and it's done.
